1) First of all I would like to say what a great company Arc Audio is. Their service and products are among the very best. The Arc Audio 2100-cxl is a very sharp looking amp that has a car paint finish to it. This amp is made very smart-the power, ground, lead, and speaker wires are on one side of the amp and rca's and adjustment settings are on the other side. The only thing I didn't like was the wire terminals-I prefer the wire hole inserts like my old kicker amp was. This amp effortlessly slammed my Alchemy with an underrated 380x1. It seems this amp has very well control of my sub. I jammed my alchemy so loud with this amp-I could fill the bass hit me in the chest(and this is in a minivan) The amp seems to not run hot at all, just kind of luke warm. I would recommend this amp to anyone who wants good clean music for a sub or so. I just installed the amp so I'll update you shortly on my complete thoughts of this amp. Futhermore, I have the bass boost on this amp at 0, gains at 0, my head unit the bass is 0 and it drives my alchemy hard. This will change soon-I will play around with these adjustments some. The crossover is 12db, it is very easy to adjust and read. This amp does not have any turn on noise at all. Also, the rca inputs are very very nice. I can see why Image Dynamics uses these amps for testing and recommend them. The mono sub crossover slope is 24db also. UPDATE! I now have a 2100 on my rainbow components and it sounds so clear, detailed, and loud. This amp will push a sub or so and does great on component sets as well. I have 2 2100's and their great! -Jason 11-17-00

2) Well, I picked up my Arc Audio amp at a very good price, but even at retail price, the Arc Audio 2100 outperforms most of its competitors. I was previously running a 1998 model PPI PC4100 to my 12" exact and a set of Focal Polykevlar 165k2s. I purchased 2 AA 2100CXLs to replace it. They are a step above the PPI amp. More power, with just as accurate, if not a more accurate sound. These amps seem to be reasonably efficient also. They are small in size, yet not in power. The crossover is set up nicely, and is the easiest x-over i have ever used. Clearly labeled buttons and knobs make this amp very user friendly. Bass Boost is also a nice feature for those using the amp for subs. All in all, this amp was amazing for the price, and I will be picking up another one to run a pair of IDQ midbasses soon hopefully. -Brett 10-02-00

3) Let me say that this amp is one of the best amps i have ever heard. I used it to replace my rockford fosgate 600a4. I couldn't believe the low price on this amp, its a REALLY good deal as for what you pay for and what you get. It makes 110x2 with no noise and doesn't give you any complaints in doing so. Truely among the best amps out there, such as A/D/S, PPI, Zapco, ect.. My only complaints, (Which are very small) is that the terminals that are used on this amp are not as easy to hook up as say, the ones on most other amps. it uses old school style screw down forks that are alittle harder to get your wires to look cleaner. That and i wish it DIDN'T have a fuse on the amp, so i could rely on just an inline fuse holder. But these are VERY small complaints from an otherwise flawless amp. A+ -Greg 12-13-00
