1) This amp is the smallest of the Arc -cxl line. It is rated at 70x2. I have this thing on my Diamond component set and it drives it louder than my ears can stand. My 1998 Diamonds look like there going to pop out of the basket! This amp is perfect for any 2-way component set or I bet it could power a sub easy(I haven't tried it on a sub). The amp is very small-so it could fit almost anywhere you dare to put it. This may be a little amp but it packs big clean power(remember the story of the little engine that could?). Like I said in my Arc 2100-cxl review this amp has a blue car paint finish to it. Has a built in 12 and 24db mono lowpass crossover and bassboost. For the price-all the amps I have had don't touch it! This amp is very affordable for anyone wanting a sub or components driven nicely. Did I mention this amp will fit almost anywhere? UPDATE! This amp even does my sub justice-my alchemy slams pretty darn hard on this amp i must say. This amp will power about anything nicely except like a nuke :) -Jason 11-17-01
2) This amp is a wonderful value for the price and puts out all the power it is rated for by IASCA standards (50x2) and more. The amp was used to power my components on it's own and is now on my horns. It is an extremely accurate amp at a great price. The crossover control is wonderful and flexible enough for what I needed. The inside of the amp is beautifully laid out and shows that there was time and worksmanship put into this product. The only part that would possibly stray someone away from this is the input sensitivity only going up to 2.5 volts. This is not even remotely a problem in most cases though. I would highly recommend this product to anybody. -Joe 02-17-01
3) My first look at the Arc 2050 was "Wow, it looks just like my 2100 only smaller"!Okay, that was a little blunt, but I'm really impressed with what this little amp does. It's pretty efficient for it's size, and I think it does it's rated power quite well.I'm sure it does it's 50 X 2 easily, a fair amount of power to a set of efficient components.I am using this on my components, but I feel this amp REALLY pushes when bridged to a sub (or two).I tossed this amp on a few different set ups including a couple of Diamonplate Pioneers and the usual JL 10 (W1 or W0 depending).I don't think the Pioneers could handle much more than this amp pushed them, and the JL was pushing very hard off of this one amp. This amp pushes an EASY 200 watts, more like 250 watts when bridged, and the amp only got a little warm to the touch, not more than leaving it in the sun for 5 minutes. The performance of this amp is impressive, but I really like the features on the Arc line up.All the power and speaker connections are on one side and clearly labeled as they should be, but the other side of connectors is so beautifully laid out, it's hard to not notice them! The layout is great, making all adjustments quite painless (with the exception of a slightly stiff gain knob, but that helps unwanted turning of the knob while driving), with the crossover points and all switches being easily accessible.Overall, I love the clean look of this amp and it's ease of use.-Andy
